Today is World AIDS Day, sometimes called A Day Without Art. It has been nearly two decades since we began marking this day as a day to reflect the profound impact AIDS has had on our world.
I have a number of friends living with HIV/AIDS, so today has a sad cloud over it. I wish we didn't have to keep having these days. I wish there wasn't an annual walk-a-thon here, in Los Angeles. I wish there was a cure.
