Playing into fears of collapsing bridges, MSNBC launched Bridges.MSNBC.com, tracking bridge inspections across America. At first, I was tickled at the thought of knowing this information... and then the reality set in.Three bridges in my area (none of which I ever drive on) are listed as structurally defeciant. I'm not sure how I feel about this. The other five bridges checked out OK, and had been inspected in the last 24 months. But as for those three?
